This is the second year BHS has brought back Prom Expo. The Expo took place on January 27th during both lunches and was only open to upperclassmen. It aimed to showcase local vendors that supply tuxes, dresses, bouquets and Beaumont’s local makeup/hair services. Several seniors were selected to model dresses and suits from different local vendors: Men’s Wearhouse, Victors Tuxedos and the Wedding Shop, Friar Tuxedo and Lucy’s Formals. Some seniors selected include: Richard Alonso, Arthur Buenaventura, Kaylee Ferro, Jayden Fordham, Noah Galliabrath, Ally Garcia, Allie Grimes, Janae Keels, Trinity Meza, Jaya Robertson, Jade Romero, Kamari Ross, Darien Sanchez, Jedi Scott, Austin Sims, Kierra Smith, Andrew Tran, Kim Trujillo, Zach Viola and Jayden Woodruff. The seniors were selected based on their impact on Beaumont High School. The Prom Committee selected this year's club and class presidents, club organizers, varsity captains, cabinet members, tri-athletes and students that had made an incredible social impact on our school.

Prom Committee had been planning the Expo for about three months, they began by contacting vendors during companies in early November, the biggest problem was attempting to find BHS seniors willing to go to several fitting days and after-school meetings. Another major road-block was the heavy paperwork that was often needed at the very last minute. As many may not know, several steps need to be taken in order for a class or club to hold any event, including fundraisers, after-school activities, fairs, etc.. Expo faced many threats of cancellation and was almost put to halt the very morning before. Luckily, the committee was able to overcome these obstacles and followed through with the Expo.

Prom committee raffled off 2 discounted tickets, and 4 discount vouchers to Lucy’s Formals in Moreno Valley. Victor’s Tuxedos also gave away a free dress and a free suit. Other vendors to mention were the Oak Valley Florist and Pico’s Haircuts.
